Wingfield is a mixed-age class of Year 3 and 4. There are currently 24 children in the class. They are taught by Miss Johnson and supported by Mrs Sezgin. Mrs Deaville will be covering Miss Johnson's PPA on a Thursday afternoon. During the week, Wingfield attend swimming lessons at Ripley Leisure Centre and take part in string lessons provided by the Wider Opportunities Music Partnership.

Our first topic will be answering the question ‘Would life be simpler if you could take something and not feel guilty?’. We will be travelling back in time to find out what life was like during the Roman, Anglo Saxon and Viking times. Creating an understanding of how and why these significant groups invaded one another.
In our Science, we will be using our enquiry skills to complete investigations leading into looking at forces and magnets.
In our R.E lessons we are starting off by looking at Incarnation: What is the Trinity?

This term as our Art focus we will be exploring the question 'Are there two sides to every story?' Our inspirational artist is Maurits Cornelis Escher, a dutch print artist who often used repeated patterns. We are going to study his art work and use it to create our own individual pieces.
