Overview

At Fritchley CofE (Aided) Primary and Nursery School we take the safety and welfare of our children extremely seriously. Parents should be aware that the school is required to take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its pupils. In the cases where the school has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse, the headteacher is obliged to follow the Child Protection procedures established by the Derbyshire Safeguarding Team.

The school considers the safeguarding of pupils to be a priority; all staff are trained in Child Protection. Everyone in school, both staff and volunteers have undergone DBS clearance and we operate a safer recruitment policy.
